The official BLUE LOCK anime exhibition, “BLUE LOCK Exhibition: EGOIST EXHIBITION the Animation,” is expanding to a full nationwide tour across Japan this summer.

The immersive event ran in Tokyo from April 26, 2025 to May 18, 2025, and is now making its way through major cities including Osaka, Kanazawa, and Hiroshima, with upcoming stops in Nagoya, Sendai, Hamamatsu, Kobe, Fukuoka, and Okinawa.

The exhibition offers an in-depth retrospective of the BLUE LOCK anime series, from the first season and the feature film BLUE LOCK: -EPISODE Nagi-, to the latest arc BLUE LOCK vs. U-20 JAPAN. The exhibition features life-sized character displays, exclusive animation materials, dramatic scene recreations, and interactive installations. 

The schedule for the event in Japan is listed as follows: 

  • • Osaka: Osaka Nanko ATC Gallery | May 31, 2025 — June 22, 2025
  • • Kanazawa: Korinbo Daiwa, 8th Floor Hall | Friday, July 18, 2025 — August 5, 2025
  • • Hiroshima: Sogo Hiroshima, Special Venue | August 10, 2025 — August 27, 2025

Six additional cities, including Nagoya, Sendai, Hamamatsu, Kobe, Fukuoka, and Okinawa, will be announced sequentially at a later date. 

Highlights of the Exhibition

Area A: Entrance & Audio Guide Experience

Upon arrival, visitors are welcomed by a key visual on the venue’s exterior. Inside, an original scenario audio guide, supervised by manga author Muneyuki Kaneshiro, is available. Three duo-guides are offered with access provided via the attendee’s smartphone and headphones:

  • • Yoichi Isagi & Rin Itoshi — Tense, sharp interactions that define the franchise’s core rivalry.
  • • Seishiro Nagi and Reo Mikage — Reflective of their emotional development in EPISODE Nagi.
  • • Meguru Bachira and Hyoma Chigiri — Engaging and charismatic reflections from two fan favorite characters that had to overcome significant challenges and evolve as soccer players. 

Area B: OPENING THEATER, Guided by Ego Jinpachi – Step into the World of BLUE LOCK

A powerful visual projection opens the exhibit, narrated by the character Ego Jinpachi. The video delves into the emotions of key characters: Isagi, Bachira, Kunigami, Chigiri, Nagi, Reo, Barou, and Rin, and visualizes the “ego” each has awakened through their experiences in BLUE LOCK

Area C: BLUE LOCK STADIUM, Relive the Heat of the Match

A life-sized Isagi statue anchors a recreated setting of the match featured in the BLUE LOCK Eleven vs. U-20 Japan game. Artificial turf and audience visuals replicate the anime’s match-day atmosphere. 

Area D: EPISODE ROAD 1–24, Revisit Season 1 of the Anime

Key moments from Season 1 are presented through massive quote displays, original keyframes, and an installation depicting Isagi’s direct shot, which are all presented through his trademark puzzle segments that showcase a journey through his memories.

Area E: Team Z ROOM, Step Inside Team Z’s Locker Room!

A full-scale replica of Team Z’s locker room including character-personalized lockers with select lockers triggering voice messages from their respective characters.

Area F: EPISODE-Nagi- & Nagi’s ROOM, Revisit the Thrill of the Movie

This section features animation from EPISODE -Nagi-, including original key frames and design materials from Hakuhou High School and Nagi’s home life. The second half of this area celebrates Nagi’s growth with a wall dedicated to his key scenes, a replica of his room, and a life-sized statue of Nagi exuding his signature egoistic aura.

Area H: EGO’s MATERIAL, Spotlight on the Blue Lock Project Itself

An in-depth look at the Blue Lock system: internal memos, scoreboard visuals, facility layouts, match statistics, and world team profiles from the Third Selection.

Area I: Additional Time!, Hit Replay on Your Favorite Moments!?

A playful interlude for the midway point of the exhibition. Fans can trigger randomized “mini-anime” moments via wall buttons. Nearby, a Maid Café King Barou corner recreates the iconic “Baro-Baro Kyuun♡” scene with detailed props.

Area J: EGOIST AREA Part 2, BLUE LOCK vs. U-20 JAPAN Cast Takes the Stage

Rin’s life-sized statue introduces the second character zone, highlighting new players from the U-20 Japan National Team including Sae Itoshi, Ryusei Shidou, and Oliver Aiku.

Area K: VS. U-20 JAPAN EXHIBITION MATCH, Relive the Historic Match!

Uniforms and visual walls document the high-stakes match. A three-screen immersive highlight reel offers an exclusive edit of the Blue Lock Eleven vs. U-20 Japan showdown.

Area L: SAE & RIN’s CHILDHOOD, A Glimpse into Rin’s Childhood Memories

A sensitive and emotional exhibit tracing the Itoshi brothers’ early years. A replica of their childhood bedroom features a shared bunk bed, trophies, and nostalgic memorabilia.

Area M: FINAL MATCHUP, A Fierce Sibling Showdown and the Rise of ‘Blue Lock’ Eleven

Over 100 original drawings portray the climactic sibling showdown. A central display features Rin and Sae’s uniforms with the match ball, alongside dramatic stills from the final match.

Area N: PHOTO SPOT A, Embrace Your Ego with Isagi and Rin!

A re-creation of the Season 1 Part 2 key visual, complete with Isagi, Rin, and their egoist aura effects.

Area O: PHOTO SPOT B – A Farewell with the Egoists in Formal Attire

A stylish closing with the full cast dressed in formal attire via life-sized standees, offering a final photo opportunity.

MESSAGE to BLUE LOCK Wall, With Love to BLUE LOCK

This area is where fans are encouraged to leave their own thoughts on pentagon-shaped note cards. The wall features exclusive handwritten messages from the series creators and voice cast, including:

  • • Yusuke Nomura (Manga Artist)
  • • Kota Sannomiya (EPISODE Nagi manga)
  • • Main anime voice cast
