“Sunburst”, the single for the “Bacardi Music Distillery 2025” music collaboration campaign, has officially released its official music video. The single features hololive’s Houshou Marine, who was announced as part of the project back in April.
“Sunburst” also features DJ FUMIYA, Kj (Dragon Ash/The Ravens), and Suzuki Mayuko (chelmico).
According to Bacardi, the song revolves around the theme “oceanside twilight,” and why the twilight is a magical time for anyone to “liberate themselves” by taking a glass of Bacardi rum.
The brand also stated that, during the production process for “Sunburst,” the artists did not communicate directly with each other. Instead, they chose to simply send the track data to each other.
After completing the song, the four artists came together to talk about what they kept in mind in order to remain true to their own style through their collaboration, and the difficulties they faced during the process.
The “Bacardi Music Distillery” project, introduced by the brand in 2023, is a collaborative initiative that gives artists the opportunity to partner with Bacardi in producing music that reflects its core message, “Do What Moves You.”
