A new P.A.Works original anime titled Towa no Yugure will premiere this October. A teaser trailer and visual, which both feature the android heroine Yugure, have been released.
The premise of the show sees high schooler Akira (Shuichiro Umeda) awakening from cold sleep to discover a landscape devasted by war. In this new world where society is different from before, and marriage has been replaced with something else, he receives a marriage proposal from the android Yugure (Yui Ishikawa), who resembles his girlfriend Towasa (Ai Kayano). Akira also decides to travel with Yugure, and believes that he can reunite with Towasa.
Towa no Yugure‘s staff includes:
• Director and series composer: Naokatsu Tsuda (director of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, and the upcoming The Darwin Incident)
• Original character designer: Midori Tayama (Girl Crush mangaka)
• Character designer: Yoshiko Saito (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation co-character designer)
