CloverWorks has delivered a reminder that it has three Summer 2025 titles that will premiere consecutively, via a new illustration that features each title’s respective main heroine. These shows are Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus, My Dress-Up Darling Season 2, and The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity.
All three shows are officially premiering on July 5 JST. Effectively, Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus is premiering on July 5 at 11:30 PM JST, with My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 and The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity‘s premieres following on July 6 at 12 AM JST and 12:30 AM JST, respectively.
Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus is the new entry in the Rascal Does Not Dream anime series, which is based on the supernatural teen/young adult drama light novels written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keji Mizoguchi. The Soichi Masui-directed series is the start of the anime’s adaptation of the story’s “University Arc,” and it will see protagonist Sakuta meeting a miniskirt Santa who claims that she’s “gifting” Puberty Syndrome to others.
The Keisuke Shinohara-directed My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 is the sequel to 2022’s cosplay-themed rom-com My Dress-Up Darling, with the anime being based on the manga by Shinichi Fukuda. Season 2’s synopsis promises “new cosplay friends” and the expansion of main characters Marin and Wakana’s world.
Finally, The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity is a Miyuki Kuroki-directed (Akebi’s Sailor Uniform) adaptation of the manga by Saka Mikami. Netflix describes the show as:
Chidori student Rintaro Tsumugi finds himself feeling comfortable around a girl named Kaoruko who treats his intimidating appearance without prejudice… until he discovers that she comes from Kikyo — a school which loathes his.
My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 and Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus will stream on Crunchyroll.
