REMOW has announced some of the global streaming platforms for the Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube TV anime. It also released the creditless opening animation for the show.
Netflix will stream the upcoming series in Asian territories that aren’t Japan or China, while REMOW’s It’s Anime YouTube Channel will provide the show in “limited territories.” Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube will also be on:
• aniverse (German-speaking territories)
• ANIME GENERATION (Italian-speaking territories)
• Anime Onegai (Latin America)
• Chunghwa Telecom’s MOD and Hami Video (exclusive to “the Taiwan region” for first four months)
The simulcast streaming will kick off on July 3 at 12:45 AM (JST).
Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube is a new anime adaptation of the Jigoku Sensei Nube manga written by Sho Makura and illustrated by Takeshi Okano. The anime’s premise is described as:
A number of inexplicable phenomena have been plaguing the town of Domori. In order to protect the town’s children, a new homeroom teacher known as “Nube” arrives.
Normally gentle and a bit outgoing, Nube has a secret side: he is, in fact, the only psychic teacher in Japan. Rumor also has it his left hand is possessed by a demon!
Hell’s messenger of justice is here to take on the school’s seven mysteries, ghosts, and evil spirits attacking his students. This occultist action story starts now!
The show will have an hour-long premiere comprising the first two episodes. It will premiere in Japan on July 2 at 11:15 PM JST.
The original manga debuted in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in 1993 and ran until 1999. It was followed by Jigoku Sensei Nube NEO and Jigoku Sensei Nube S, and also the spin-offs Reibaishi Izuna and Reibaishi Izuna: Ascension. A new manga, Jigoku Sensei Nube Kai, began in May 2025.
The previous Jigoku Sensei Nube TV anime produced by Toei Douga (now Toei Animation) aired from 1996 to 1997. The manga has also inspired a live-action drama.
