Digimon Beatbreak Highlights Tomoro Tenma & Gekkomon in 1st Character Visual featured image

The upcoming Digimon Beatbreak TV anime series has unveiled a new character visual for Tomoro Tenma and his Digimon partner Gekkomon. The latest animated entry in the Digimon multimedia franchise is expected to premiere in Japan in October 2025.

More details about Digimon Beatbreak, such as its production staff, cast and storyline, have not yet been confirmed. A world premiere screening of the show’s first episode will be held during DIGIMON EXPO’25 on September 20-21, 2025, according to Comic Natalie

The first TV series for the franchise, Digimon Adventure, debuted in Japan in 1999 for 54 episodes, two years after the debut of the Digimon virtual pets. The franchise has since inspired several other TV anime series, films, games, manga, and a collectible card game, among other media. 

The most recent Digimon TV anime was Digimon Ghost Game, which aired from 2021 until 2023 for 67 total episodes. 

Crunchyroll streamed Digimon Ghost Game worldwide, outside of Japan, and describes the main premise as: 

On social media, rumors of a mysterious phenomenon, known as “Hologram Ghosts,” are spreading. Hiro Amanokawa, a first-year junior high school student, activates a mysterious device left behind by his father, and encounters a Digimon called Gammamon.
