Crunchyroll Hosts Two-Day “Anime FanFest” Music Festival at 2025 San Diego Comic-Con featured image

Crunchyroll has announced today that it will be hosting the Crunchyroll Anime FanFest music festival for two days at San Diego Comic-Con 2025. The music festival will take place from July 25-26, 2025 at The Rady Shell in Jacobs Park behind the San Diego Convention Center.  

The company also announced this year that the festival is free for everyone to attend and no SDCC badge will be needed for entry. All details are subject to change and space is limited to a first-come, first serve basis, depending on capacity.

The first day of Crunchyroll Anime FanFest on July 25 will feature the following artists: 

  • • SPYAIR — Japanese rock band behind Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle theme
  • • yama — J-Pop singer behind SPY×FAMILY ending theme
  • • ASH DA HERO — Punk rock band behind “Judgement” for BLUE LOCK
  • Slushii — Anime-inspired DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist
  • • Magnolia Park — Gothic anime-inspired alternative rock band
  • • Hyper Potions — Electronic artist known for anime-esque soundscapes
  • • VGR — EDM producer known for video game and anime music remixes
  • • James Landino — Composer and DJ behind Tower of God original soundtrack

The second day on July 26 will feature the following artists:

  • • Denzel Curry — Miami rapper blending underground hip-hop with anime
  • • INIKO — Shounen anime-inspired genre-defying songwriter and producer
  • • Pink Pablo — Puerto Rican singer and producer
  • • ALI — Group behind “Lost in Paradise” for JUJUTSU KAISEN
  • • Yaeji [DJ Set] — NYC-via-Seoul artist, producer, vocalist, DJ and lifelong anime fan
  • • ☆Taku Takahashi x Alenoise — DJ and producer of the Black Clover theme
  • • NOODLES — Los Angeles-based DJ

Fans will also be able to explore exclusive artist and anime merch pop-ups, giveaways, and crosswalk activations Crosswalk, which feature immersive anime experiences for Gachiakuta, Kaiju No. 8, Rising of the Shield Hero, and more. 

Doors will open at 1:00 PM PST on Friday and Saturday. Crunchyroll team members and signage will be present at the entrance for assistance. The company will also announce more of its plans at SDCC later in the future.
