A new special trailer has been released to commemorate the 100th episode of the ongoing Pokémon Horizons: The Series.
It highlights important points from the story, from when Liko and Roy first started their Pokémon journey to the current story arc. The trailer also gives a small taste of what is to come in future episodes by allowing fans to hear Friede’s voice, a Pokémon professor and commander of the Rising Volt Tackler, who disappeared in the previous story arc. The clip was also shown in the 100th episode that aired in Japan on June 20 JST.
Pokémon Horizons is the newest anime series in the Pokémon franchise after Pokémon Journeys: The Series and succeeding the original Pokémon anime series. It first aired in Japan on April 14, 2023, and currently has five story arcs, including the current arc, “Mega Voltage,” which began airing in April 2025.
