My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 will premiere on July 5 JST (effectively July 6 at 12 AM JST) and will be streamed by Crunchyroll. The anime is the sequel to 2022’s My Dress-Up Darling and is based on the manga by Shinichi Fukuda, which ran from January 2018 to March 2025 in Young Gangan. Season 2’s synopsis reads:

While interacting with their classmates and meeting new cosplay friends, Marin and Wakana’s world expands even more. And will there be any new developments with Marin’s love for Wakana that’s filled with never-ending excitement?

Square Enix describes the manga as:

To Wakana, people like beautiful Marin Kitagawa, a trendy girl who’s always surrounded by a throng of friends, is practically an alien from another world. But when cheerful Marin–never one to be shy–spots Wakana sewing away one day after school, she barges in with the aim of roping her quiet classmate into her secret hobby: cosplay! Will Wakana’s wounded heart be able to handle the invasion from this sexy alien?!
