Three new character trailers and several additional cast members have been revealed for the upcoming Hitozuma no Kuchibiru wa Can Chuhai no Aji ga Shite TV anime series. The short series will begin airing in Japan on July 1, 2025 and will consist of eight episodes.
The additional cast members joining the series’ “broadcast edition” voice cast includes:
- • Saki Kosaka as Tamami Miyazawa
- • Yuri Yamaoka as Nozomi Kuji
- • Riko Akechi as Anastasia
- • Miho Morisaki as Simphis
- • Kayo Ishida as Sari Kirihara
Character videos for Tamami Miyazawa, Nozomi Kuji, and Anastasia were also released, with the latter being posted on the Deregula Anime YouTube Channel last week.
They join the show’s other “broadcast edition” voice cast that stars:
- • Takahide Ishii as Tsuyoshi
- • Shiho Kawaragi as Yui Koriyama
- • Madoka Asahina as Ai Natsuno
- • Yuka Nukui as Miki Kanzaki
Anime News Network reported earlier that WWWave Corporation will stream Hitozuma no Kuchibiru wa Can Chuhai no Aji ga Shite on its OceanVeil streaming platform. The latter later confirmed its streaming plans for the series on its Twitter/X account.

WWWave Corporation’s Deregula label is producing the anime series and is releasing two versions of the show: a censored “broadcast edition” and an uncensored “Deregula edition.” The latter version will be released on the show’s Blu-ray and DVD and is also streaming exclusively on the AnimeFesta service in Japan.
The erotic comedy romance manga is written by Chinjao Musume and illustrated by Tama Nogami. It was first launched on Kodansha’s YanMaga Web manga website on February 17, 2021. The series has since been collected into digital volumes as well as physical full-color volumes published under the title Hitozuma no Kuchibiru wa Kan Chuhai no Aji ga Shite: Zeitaku Full Color Strong Han. A total of 22 digital volumes have been released as of May 2025, with the first three volumes being published in print.
Hitozuma no Kuchibiru wa Can Chuhai no Aji ga Shite follows a young college student named Tsuyoshi, who enjoys drinking canned alcohol, and has various encounters with married women.
