A new main visual has been revealed for the upcoming Fushigi no Kuni de Alice to -Dive in Wonderland- anime film, which features the two main heroines and some additional side characters. The film will premiere in Japanese theaters on August 29, 2025.

Toshiya Shinohara (NagiAsu: A Lull in the Sea, The Aquatope on White Sand) is directing the anime film, with Yuko Kakihara (Blue Box series screenwriter) as screenwriter. P.A Works is in charge of the film’s animation production.

Lewis Carroll’s original 1865 fantasy novel has inspired many adaptations since its first publication, including the 1951 Disney animated film Alice in Wonderland. In Japan, the novel inspired Nippon Animation and Apollo Film’s 1983 TV anime adaptation titled Fushigi no Kuni no Alice.
Fushigi no Kuni de Alice to -Dive in Wonderland– centers on a young girl from Japan who somehow finds herself in Wonderland, where she meets Alice.
