A demo corner for the upcoming Kaiju No. 8 The Game will be available at an Anime Expo 2025, as part of a larger “immersive booth” that also offers a few other attractions related to the action RPG.
The demo corner will sport “playable units running the latest Demo version of the game, giving attendees a firsthand look at its intuitive controls, explosive Ultimate Moves, and detailed kaiju battle sequences.” There’s no word on whether you’ll get to meet Akari Kito‘s original character Sagan Shinomiya in the demo slice, though.
As for those other attractions, there’s the chance to snap a photo and have it used to make a “personalized Japan Defense Force–style” ID card, and also exclusive merchandise with the game’s original artwork to grab. An LED Video Wall will let you watch the “cinematic official trailer and the electrifying gameplay highlights.”
Kaiju No. 8 The Game will be available on App Store, Google Play, and Steam, with supported languages that include Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and French. Pre-registration for the free-to-play Akatsuki Games-developed title started on April 26 JST, and the global pre-registration count has exceeded 300,000 at the time of writing.
