ZUTOMAYO has released an anime music video for “Pain Give Form” (“Katachi”), the theme song of the 2025 movie Dollhouse.
The aesthetically impressive Nowoka-directed (“Shinitai Himawari” music video) video follows two girls with heterochromia eyes. While they have similar appearances, the two live drastically different lives, which are directly contrasted at points with a splitscreen effect. The video also depicts the events that unfold after their first interaction.
Besides directing, Nowoka also handled the storyboards, unit direction, chief animation direction, and character designs. Meanwhile, haikeibu is credited with the character design drafts, the production material for the setting, and the background art.
The “Pain Give Form” music video premiered at the same time as the song’s streaming/download debut.
