A third new trailer, key visual, and main theme songs have been revealed for the upcoming Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse TV anime series, which will begin airing in Japan on Fuji TV’s +Ultra programming block on July 2, 2025.

The theme songs highlighted in the new trailer are the opening theme “CRY OUT CRY OVER” by Who-ya Extended and “TURN OVER” by 9Lana.
Hideya Takahashi (Urusei Yatsura remake and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind co-director) is directing the anime and is credited with working on the drafts, with Hayashi Mori (Cells at Work! Code Black) as series screenwriter, Kazuaki Morita (Classroom of the Elite) as character designer, Kitsuneiro as concept artist, and Masahiro Tokuda (The Promised Neverland live-action movie) as music composer. David Production is in charge of the animation production.
Akuto Sato (Haishi ni Chimeiteki ni Muiteinai Onna no Ko ga Meikan de Mokumoku to Hitodasuke suru Haishin author) is credited with the plot drafts and Katsuie Shibata is credited with the setting research.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

- • Kaito Ishikawa as Atsunaga
- • Anna Nagase as Yura

The original anime series was first announced this past March. A manga based on the series was created by Fujiko Sakano, who is also credited as the anime’s original creator. It started serialization in Kodansha’s Morning on February 6, 2025.

Crunchyroll will be streaming Onmyo-Kaiten Re:Birth Verse worldwide, as it premieres in Japan, and describes the series as:
Narihira Takeru is a delinquent who often thinks about Tsukimiya, the girl who appears in his dreams. After an unexpected accident, Takeru finds himself in a parallel universe, and the world that Tsukimiya lives in. When Takeru and Tsukimiya are slain by a monster, he awakens again and realizes he has leapt through time. Now, Takeru must train with Abe Seimei to fight for Tsukimiya’s life!
