Toho Animation has announced that they will host a special panel for The Apothecary Diaries at Anime Expo 2025, which will take place from July 3rd to July 6th. The panel is scheduled on July 4th from 5:45 PM to 6:35 PM in the Diamond Ballroom.
Japanese voice actresses Aoi Yuki, who voices Maomao, and Asami Seto, who voices Shisui, will be attending the panel as special guests.

The Apothecary Diaries is a light novel series written by Natsu Hyuga and illustrated by Toko Shino. It was published by Shufunotomo in August 2014 and has released 16 volumes as of June 2025. The light novel series has inspired an anime series, a manga adaptation, and a spinoff manga titled Kusuriya no Hitorigoto Gaiden: Xiaolan Kaisoroku.
The first season of The Apothecary Diaries anime series first premiered in October 2023 and was separated into two cours. The second season began airing on January 10, 2025.
J-Novel Club has licensed and is releasing the light novel digitally in English, while Square Enix is publishing both the light novel and manga adaptation physically.
