A main trailer for The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity TV anime has arrived, revealing more scenes, the voice performances, and a July 5 JST (effectively July 6 at 12:30 AM JST) premiere.
The trailer includes snippets of the newly announced theme songs, “Manazashi wa Hikari” by Tatsuya Kitani (opening) and “Hare no Hi ni” by Reira Ushio (ending).
The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity also received a key visual and the announcement of a June 29 JST pre-screening event at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills. The anime illustration for the jacket cover of the “Hare no Hi ni” CD release, which launches on September 3 JST, was shared as well.
Additionally, more staff credits were revealed, among them Yasuho Tamura (Bubble sub-character designer) as cake designer.
The anime is based on the manga by Saka Mikami, which debuted in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket in 2021 and has 16 tankoubon volumes as of April 2025. It was a finalist in the Shonen category of 47th and 48th Kodansha Manga Award.

Two rival schools stand next door to each other: one for elite ladies, one for good-for-nothing boys. But one of those boys might just be a naturally chivalrous diamond in the rough, and one of those girls might be a little more open-minded than is proper…
