Uniqlo is releasing a new Ghibli UT collection this year, which includes designs from 2023’s The Boy and the Heron.

The collection once again features the involvement of Thai photographer Kanyada Phatan, who contributes photos and poems to the Ghibli-published booklet Neppu and has writing credits on books like The Tale of Ghibli Museum and Words of Wisdom I Heard from Ghibli’s Suzuki About Work (co-credit). Phatan has been described by outlets as a long-time friend of Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki, joining him for a signing event and talk at 2022’s “Animage to Ghibli-ten” in addition to drawing the exhibition’s Catbus visual.

Aside from mens’ and kids’ shirts, the collection includes five unisex sweatshirts (priced at US$39.90 each) and three kids’ sweatshirts (US$29.90 each).

As spotted by Catsuka, the French webpage for the collection also lists limited edition T-shirts for 2016’s Japanese-European co-production The Red Turtle, which was directed by Dutch animator Michaël Dudok de Wit.

Those in the US can expect the new Ghibli clothes to launch on July 10 at 8:15 AM ET. Take a look at some of the designs below:
