Tom & Jerry Gokko Short Anime Series Gets English Release on YouTube featured image

The official Warner Bros. Kids YouTube channel began streaming a short 45-second English trailer for Warner Bros. Japan’s Tom & Jerry Gokko short anime series. The trailer teases that the anime is “coming soon to YouTube,” but did not specify a specific debut date. 

Warner Bros. Japan first premiered the anime on November 11, 2022 under its Japanese title Tom to Jerry Gokko. One minute-long episodes are currently being released a month. 

Kodai Sato (Engimon, Pamo Pamotto Pawmot!) is directing the Tom & Jerry Gokko series, with Tomomi Kigawada working on the storyboards. Other staff include ayu as character designer and CaptainMirai (NICO/AGONY) as music composer. Fanworks is handling the animation production and Studio Nanahoshi is credited with animation production assistance on the series. 

Meanwhile, the short anime’s voice cast includes: 

  • • Megumi Aratake as Tom
  • • Aya Yonekura as Jerry
  • • Nana Kumagai as Tuffy
  • • Yusuke Yoshida as Spike

The Warner Bros. Kids YouTube channel describes the series in the trailer as: “It’s your favorite cartoon cat and mouse as you’ve never seen them before!”
