The Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc anime has released a climax trailer, which features key moments of the “Emerald Witch Arc” throughout the show. The ninth episode of the anime aired on May 31st, 2025.
Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc is the new installment of the Black Butler series. It started airing on April 5, 2025, and follows Ciel and Sebastian as they investigate a series of deaths occurring in Germany. It is set to air for 13 episodes.
Black Butler is a dark fantasy manga by Yana Toboso. It began serialization on Monthly G Fantasy in 2006 and has inspired an anime series, movie, game, OVAs, and 2.5D musicals. As of June 2025, 34 manga volumes have been released. The first season of the Black Butler anime adaptation premiered in 2008.
Crunchyroll is streaming the whole Black Butler series, including the Emerald Witch Arc. Yen Press has licensed and is publishing the manga in English. Yen Press describes the manga as:
