A third new season of the short anime series Chibi Godzilla Raids Again will begin broadcasting in Japan on July 2, 2025. A new poster visual and trailer for the upcoming third season were also released.
The announcement of a new season was made at a fan meeting event for the series, where it was revealed that voice actor Katsuyuki Konishi would be joining the cast as Chibi JJ. It was also announced that the group Wednesday Campanella will perform the series’ new main theme song “Kaiju-To,” which is previewed in the trailer.
Taketo Shinkai (Anime Kaisha de Hanasu Koto ka yo) is once again directing the short series, with illustrator Chiharu Sakazaki (Chibi Godzilla designer) returning as character designer and Pie in the sky handling the animation production.

Season two of Chibi Godzilla Raids Again began streaming on YouTube on April 3, 2025, while the English-subtitled version debuted on April 10, 2025. It contained 52 episodes. The first season premiered in April 2023 and ran for 13 episodes. Each episode of the series ran for a rough two-minute-and-forty-second runtime.
The Chibi Godzilla design by Sakazaki made its first appearance in the 2018 children’s book Do Your Best, Chibi Godzilla! The chibi kaijus have also appeared in other picture books, a music video, the 2020-2021 short-form 3D-animated web series I’m Home! Chibi Godzilla and several merchandise.
