A new BanG Dream! mini anime series titled Ganso! Bandori-chan will begin streaming in Japan in October 2025. A new teaser visual for the series was also revealed, which lists the anime’s English title BanG Dream Chan

The new visual features the five main members of the anime’s main band unit Poppin’Party’.

The mini anime series was also announced at Poppin’Party’s third concert at Nippon Budokan on May 26, 2025. It will contain 52 episodes and will be co-directed by Kenshiro Morii (Nora, Princess, and Stray Cat) and Seiya Miyajima (Umayon).

A follow-up to 2023’s BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!! and the recently concluded 2024 sequel Ave Mujica – The Die is Cast – was announced in March 2025. Ave Mujica serves as a sequel to It’s MyGO!!!!!, with both series airing 13 total episodes.

The BanG Dream! mixed-media franchise began in 2015 with a manga series. The first three anime seasons premiered in 2017, 2019, and 2020 and have been streamed on HIDIVE. The series has also spawned several anime films and spin-offs, live concerts, singles, albums, video games, and a light novel.

Crunchyroll streamed Ave Mujica worldwide, outside of Japan, and describes the main premise as:

Sakiko Togawa created the successful band, Ave Mujica, by recruiting its members. Alongside Uika Misumi, Mutsumi Wakaba, Umiri Yahata, and Nyamu Yutenji, Sakiko wonders why she should shoulder the responsibility of keeping the band going.
