The BADGIRL anime has received a new “lyric promotional video” featuring the song “Kanojo no ‘Modern…’,” which also serves to highlight the characters Atori Mizutori and Rura Ruriha.
This version of GLAY’s “Kanojo no ‘Modern…'” is a cover by the unit Tenrogun, which spawned from the anime project and comprises the show’s four lead voice actors.
BADGIRL is set to begin airing in July. It is based on the 4-koma manga by Nikumaru, which began serialization in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat in its February 2021 issue. The story follows Yu, a self-proclaimed delinquent who idolizes the public morals committee president Atori.
The manga’s fifth volume will be released on July 25, 2025 JST.
Update: The article originally reported that the character Suzu Suzukaze was featured in the video instead of Atori Mizutori. This has been amended.
