Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. has announced that they will have a special stage for the latest installment of the Gundam series, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, at Anime Expo 2025 and Japan Expo 2025.
At Anime Expo 2025, the special stage will include a special screening of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-, a talk session with staff and cast, and a live music performance. The special guests attending are director Kazuya Tsurumaki, series supervisor and co-screenplay writer Yoji Enokido, Japanese voice actress Tomoyo Kurosawa, who voices Amate Yuzuriha (MACHU), and Gundam Executive Producer Naohiro Ogata from Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. The event will take place at the Peacock Theater on July 3rd.
During Japan Expo 2025, Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. will have a panel that also includes a movie screening of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX-Beginning- and a talk session where Tsurumaki, Enokido, and Mahiro Maeda (design works and one of the storyboard artists) will attend as special guests and share behind-the-scenes insights in making the series. The panel will take place on July 6th at the Yuzu Stage.
An Anime Expo Badge and a Japan Expo ticket are required to attend the events.

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is the new installment of the Gundam series franchise. It’s the first major collaboration between Studio khara, famous for the EVANGELION movie series, and Sunrise. Kazuya Tsurumaki is the director of the series.
The series premiered worldwide on April 8th on Amazon Prime. It describes the series as:
