The Versus, Fall In Love, You False Angels Among Winners, and Historie manga are the winners of the 49th Kodansha Awards.

Versus, which is written by ONE, drawn by Kyotaro Azuma, and composer by bose, won in the Shonen category. Kodansha USA describes the Monthly Shonen Sirius-serialized title as:

The compelling and long-awaited new action epic from ONE, the author of One-Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100! Humanity cowers in fear in a world ruled by demons…but a brigade of humanity’s 47 strongest heroes band together in a final attempt to wrest the world back!

Coco Uzuki’s Fall In Love, You False Angels Among Winners (Koiseyo Mayakashi Tenshidomo) was the winner of the Shojo category. Kodansha USA describes the Dessert-serialized title as:

All sugar, no spice, and everything nice… that’s the impression the beautiful first-year high schooler and “heartthrob angel” class president Otogi Katsura gives to those around her. In reality, Otogi is brash, assertive, and has no problem calling out a jerk when she sees one—the complete opposite of her soft spoken vice presidential counterpart, the equally beautiful and seemingly perfect Toki Ninomae. One day, when a group of boys try to hit on her at the train station, Otogi doesn’t hold back and gives them a piece of her mind — and, to her surprise, Toki enjoys seeing this side of her. Not only that, it turns out the seemingly polite, put-together vice president has a hidden side of his own… and Otogi now finds him more attractive than ever! Now “partners-in-crime,” Otogi and Toki agree to keep their hidden sides a secret from the rest of their classmates—but could this shared, dark secret also bring them closer together…?!

Finally, Hitoshi Iwaaki‘s Historie won in the General category. K Manga describes the Afternoon-serialized title as:

A historical epic set in ancient times, Historie tells the story of Eumenes, a young man with quick wits and a vast destiny to fulfill. In time, he’ll become a famed army commander and personal secretary to Alexander the Great—but the road to this glory is fraught with danger…

The 48th Kodansha Awards winners were Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End for Shonen,  Looking At Your Profile (Kimi no Yokogao wo Miteita) for Shojo, and Medalist for General.
