Two new cast members have been announced for the ongoing The Unaware Atelier Meister TV anime series. The anime began airing in Japan on April 6, 2025 and will run for 12 episodes.
The latest cast member joining the series is Ai Kakuma as Akuri, who is a mysterious girl that emerges from an egg that Kurt receives as a reward for a quest. She appears in the seventh episode.
The other new cast member, announced on the anime’s official Twitter/X account last week, cast in the series is Rie Kugimiya as Hildegarde, who is a demon that has a history with Kurt. She appeared at the end of the sixth episode.
They join the anime’s main voice cast that stars:

The series began streaming one week before its regular TV broadcast in Japan, starting March 30, 2025.
Hisashi Ishii (I’m Quitting Heroing) is directing the anime, with Deko Akao (You Are Ms. Servant) as series screenwriter, Miyuki Nakamura (Mr Love: Queen’s Choice co-guest character designer) as character designer, and Shunya Watanabe as music composer. EMT Squared is in charge of the animation production.
The Unaware Atelier Meister is based on the fantasy light novel series, written by Yosuke Tokino and illustrated by Zounose. It was first published as a light novel series by AlphaPolis on March 31, 2019 and has released 11 volumes as of March 2025. The story was first published as a web novel by the publisher starting in 2018.
A manga adaptation from Alpha Manga, illustrated by Naharu Furukawa, was launched in December 2019. It is digitally published in English on AlphaPolis’ Alpha Manga app.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime worldwide, outside of Japan, and describes the main synopsis as:
Kurt Rockhans is a kind-hearted errand boy for a hero’s party, the Flaming Dragon Fang. One day, he’s banished from the party and finds out he has the lowest rank in combat. In order to make a living, Kurt picks up various jobs and discovers he has astonishing abilities. Though he doesn’t realize it yet, Kurt has SSS-rank skills in anything other than fighting, as he sets off on a new journey.
