A trailer and key visual for Wind Breaker Season 2’s “Roppo Ichiza Arc” have been released.
It was also announced that Kazuyuki Okitsu and Reina Ueda will be voicing the characters Kanji Nakamura and Shizuka Narita, respectively.
Wind Breaker Season 2 premiered on April 3 JST (effectively April 4 at 12:26 AM JST). Crunchyroll describes the plot of the delinquent action anime as:
Sakura’s idea of what it means to be at the top has begun to change. After making new friends and encountering new enemies in his time at Furin High School, he has gained some perspective. Now, he stands tall as a Grade Captain, fighting to protect others. Watch as Sakura’s rise continues from high school delinquent to heroic legend!
The anime is based on the Kodansha-published manga by Satoru Nii, which started serialization on Magazine Pocket since 2021 and has 21 tankoubon volumes as of March 2025. The first season premiered on April 4, 2024.
Kodansha USA describes the Wind Breaker manga as:
Haruka Sakura wants nothing to do with weaklings—he’s only interested in the strongest of the strong.
