During that time, players can explore the same town as seen in the anime series and participate in various activities such as hanging out with friends, giving gifts, and playing different mini-games with Nyanko-sensei.

Natsume’s Book of Friends is a supernatural mystery manga series written by Yuki Midorikawa. It first began as a one-shot manga in June 2003 before it was serialized as a full series in July 2007 in LaLa magazine. It inspired anime adaptations, OVAs, and two anime films. Currently, there are thirty-two manga volumes as of May 2025.
Crunchyroll is streaming all seven seasons of the anime. Viz Media licenses and publishes the manga in English.

As Natsume finally finds a place where he feels welcome, he meets and says goodbye to new Youkai….
