Made in Abyss is inspiring a casual game for smartphones. Nobollel Inc. is developing the game, which has the title of Made in Abyss ~Doshigatai Fushigi na Tabi~.
Made in Abyss ~Doshigatai Fushigi na Tabi~ is the first Made in Abyss smartphone title, and the second Made in Abyss game in general. 2022 saw the release of the action RPG Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
The new game is currently in development, but further details remain under wraps for now.
Made in Abyss ~Doshigatai Fushigi na Tabi~‘s reveal comes over two years since the announcement of a new sequel to the Made in Abyss anime adaptation. The original Takeshobo-published dark fantasy/adventure manga by Akihito Tsukushi, which began in 2012, had first inspired a 2017 TV anime series, which was followed by the 2020 Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul anime movie and 2022’s Made in Abyss: The Sun Blazes Upon the Golden City.
