Some details about the Honkai: Star Rail x Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works collaboration announced last year have been revealed.

The collaboration event, titled “Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail,” will bring Saber and Archer to the free-to-play turn-based RPG as 5-star characters. Saber will be a Destruction: Wind character, while Archer has The Hunt Path and the Quantum element.

Archer can be obtained for free as a login reward starting July 11. He’ll be up for grabs until the conclusion of Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.6.

That date will also mark the start of a Fate/Stay Night event and the collaboration’s warp. The warp comes with a disclaimer that “the cumulative warp count for this collaboration warp is calculated independently of other warp types” like Character Event Warps.

For the event, HoYoverse teases the typical Fate/Stay Night elements like Heroic Spirits, Command Seals, Noble Phantasms, and classes, which players will utilize to “win strategic battles.” Further details will be revealed later, but the fluff blurb says:

In the planet of dreams, compete to gain the Holy Grail, which can realize all dreams, and summon historical celebrities as Servants — the first Penaconian Holy Grail War is about to begin! And the Trailblazer will be… Player?

The press release also teases “exciting” interactions between Saber and the Astral Express Crew.

The collaboration’s story was supervised by Fate/Stay Night scenario writer Kinoko Nasu, while the Servants’ original concept designs for their Honkai: Star Rail appearance were designed by Fate/Stay Night character designer Takashi Takeuchi

The details come after the end of the Honkai: Star Rail 2025 concert, and not long after the game’s second anniversary. It was also announced that there will be a new Honkai game.

Update: Added that Archer is available as a login reward.
