Voice actor Hidenobu Kiuchi is joining the voice cast of the ongoing Everyday Host short anime series as Taro Okonomi. The short series began airing in Japan on April 4, 2025 and will air for two consecutive cours.
Okonomi join a main voice cast that stars:
- • Hiro Shimono as Koichi
- • Taku Yashiro as Hajime
- • Tasuku Hatanaka as Ryoichi
- • Nobuhiko Okamoto as Senichi
Rarecho (Aggretsuko) is directing the anime and writing its script, with FANWORKS handling the animation production.
The anime is based on the surreal gag comedy manga by Nimo Goto, which was first launched on Goto’s personal website, before being serialized on pixiv and Niconico Seiga from July 26, 2020 to October 27, 2022. Kadokawa Shoten acquired the series and published five digital volumes under the Asuka Comics DX imprint as of December 2024.
Everyday Host centers on an ex-salaryman named Koichi, who is recruited to work at a host club that employs several co-workers with each of their own quirks and personalities.
