The English version of the Umamusume: Pretty Derby game has gotten an update for its release date. Expect it to be out on June 26, while pre-registrations for the App Store and Google Play version, as well as wishlisting for the Steam release, will be available starting on April 28.
Umamusume: Pretty Derby is a “raising simulator” that’s part of Cygames’ horse girl-themed Umamusume: Pretty Derby media mix franchise. The Japanese version was released in 2021 after being delayed from its 2018 launch date. The English version was announced last year.
Some of the other entries in the franchise include a 2016 manga, the 2018 first TV anime season, the Umamusume: Pretty Derby – Party Dash video game, and a stage play. The latest Umamusume anime is this anime season’s Umamusume: Cinderella Gray, which is based on a manga series focused on the character Oguri Cap.
Last week, Cygames announced a partnership with the 151st Kentucky Derby, which includes a Cygames booth with demos for games like Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond and Umamusume: Pretty Derby.
