Konami Digital Entertainment began streaming the first episode of the anime short series Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game The Chronicles on Tuesday, which spotlights the “Sky Striker Ace” storyline. The short series is currently streaming on the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Channel on YouTube, with a new episode being released every month. Subtitles for the short are available in English, Korean, and Chinese (simplified and traditional).

The first episode highlights the “Sky Striker Ace” storyline and the main rival characters Sky Striker Ace – Raye (voiced by Anna Nagase) and Sky Striker Ace – Roze (voiced by Nene Hieda). The second episode in the storyline will debut this coming May and will further develop the story between the two characters.

The second arc titled “The Fallen & The Virtuous” will begin later this June, focusing on the cards Fallen of Albaz and Dogmatika Ecclesia, the Virtuous.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game The Chronicles is being produced by KONAMI Animation and was first announced in December 2024, following the release of a six-minute long animated short in February 2024 commemorating the franchise’s 25th anniversary

The Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG YouTube Channel describes the synopsis of the first story arc as:

To meet Roze not as a “weapon” but as a “person”—
