A new key visual and trailer have been revealed for the new Cute High Earth Defense Club anime, Binan Koko Chikyu Boei-bu Haikara!, with the latter announcing the show’s new voice cast, staff, and main theme songs. The TV anime series is expected to begin airing in Japan on July 7, 2025 and is known unofficially in English as Cute High Earth Defense Club Haikara!
The newly revealed main staff include Takashi Aoshima (The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love You) as series screenwriter, Ayaka Murakami (Sasaki and Miyano: Graduation film) as character designer and chief animation director, Yukiko Maruyama (My Hero Academia Seasons 1-7 art director) as art director, Kana Tsuchimoto as prop designer, and yamazo (A Condition Called Love) as music composer.
Shinji Takamatsu, the director of the three previous Cute High Earth Defense seasons and 2025 anime film, is returning to direct Binan Koko Chikyu Boei-bu Haikara! Studio Deen is once again handling the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s new main voice cast stars:

The anime’s in-universe music group Haikara Roman-dan, made up of the main voice cast, are performing the opening theme “Haikara de GO!!,” as previewed in the trailer. The in-universe rival group Bankara Shinei-tai will perform the ending song “Zanko in your eyes.”
The Haikara Roman-dan cast members will also participate in a bi-weekly podcast, launching this coming July.
The Cute High Earth Defense Club anime began in 2015 with the Cute High Earth Defense Club Love! TV anime series. It was followed up with the second season Cute High Earth Defense Club Love! Love! In 2016, the Cute High Earth Defense Club Love! Love! Love! OVA in 2017, and Cute High Earth Defense Club Eternal Love! The Movie, which recently premiered in January 2025.
The first Cute High Earth Defense Club Love! series was produced by Diomedea, while the latter entries were produced by Studio Comet.

The story revolves around the members of the “Earth Defense Club” aka the “Do Nothing Club” at Binan High School. One day, the club members are soaking in a hot bath together when all of a sudden a mysterious pink wombat appears out of thin air! The wombat asks the members to lend it their help to protect the Earth. At school the next day, each of the club members receives a magical bracelet enveloping them in a dazzling light.
