My Hero Academia: Vigilantes will also premiere its English dub on the same day as the Japanese language version with subtitles. New episodes will released each week on Crunchyroll. Additionally, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Italian dubs will also launch on the day when new episodes premiere. The first season of My Hero Academia premiered in 2016, with the recent seventh season aired in May 2024. Bones has handled the animation production for all seasons so far.

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is based on the superhero manga series written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court. It is a spinoff prequel that takes place five years before the main story. It was first serialized in Shueisha’s Jump Giga magazine on August 20, 2016, before transferring to Shonen Jump+ in October 2016. The series ended on May 28, 2022 with 15 total tankobon volumes released.

Horikoshi’s original My Hero Academia manga series was serialized from Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from July 7, 2014 to August 5, 2024. A total of 42 tankobon volumes were released.

The franchise inspired several manga spinoffs, novels, video games, stage plays, art and guidebooks, and four anime films. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime series and films worldwide, outside of Japan.
