A TV anime adaptation of The Demons Are Planning Something Good fantasy comedy manga series has been announced. A premiere date for the anime was not revealed.
Takuya Asaoka (VTuber Legend: How I Went Viral after Forgetting to Turn Off My Stream, Redo of Healer) will be directing the anime series at studio TNK.

The manga’s original author Takuji Kato and illustrator Gashigashi released new drawings to celebrate the anime announcement.

The manga was first launched as a web comic on Kato’s Twitter/X account in 2022. It was then picked up for publication on Fujimi Shobo’s DraDra Sharp# web manga service, with new art by Gashigashi. Kadokawa’s Dragon Comic Edge imprint has published two tankobon volumes as of October 2024.
Yen Press licensed the The Demons Are Planning Something Good manga for release in English, and describes the main premise as:
While things like slime that melts clothes or tentacle traps may not seem like much to humans, behind each trap of this nature is the blood, sweat, and tears of a demon. Enjoy this comedy story about the struggles of demons that started on Twitter with brand-new short stories.
