Titan Manga has announced that it has licensed the supernatural horror manga series Ghostly Darkness of Kanata. The first volume will be released on December 9, 2025 at several bookstores, comic shops, and digital retailers.
The manga series is written and illustrated by Noct Koike, who has worked on Serial Killer Land, Tonari no Jiisan, and Mitsu no Shima. It began serialization on Gentosha Comics’ Comic Boost manga website on September 1, 2023. Two tankobon volumes have been released in total so far.

Titan Manga describes the main synopsis of Ghostly Darkness of Kanata as:
After a heart-stopping encounter with an unearthly apparition, a young woman becomes fixated on the spirits that linger in the shadows. Drawn into a chilling journey to confront the very essence of fear, she steps into a world where the boundary between the living and the dead fades into oblivion.
As the heroine delves deeper into the occult, her quest to understand the afterlife soon reveals that terror doesn’t always come from the unknown—it hides in the places we think we know best. The ghosts she seeks might just be the ones chasing her.
In this supernatural thriller, prepare to face your deepest fears, as the lines between life and death, safety and danger, vanish into the darkness. Will she survive the haunting force she’s invited into her life? Or will she become one with the ghosts of Kanata?
The manga is now available for pre-order from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books A Million, and Forbidden Planet in the U.K.
