The two new cast members joining the series, as featured in the trailer, includes Saya Aizawa as Sayo Ozora, a friend of Shizuku Kusano, and Yuna Nemoto as Mizuki Hino. A promotional teaser visual was also released.

They join a main voice cast that stars Daiki Hamano as Gen Kinokura, Yohei Azakami as Akihito Takigawa, and Mizuki Nizaki as Shizuku Kusano.
Jun Hatori (Tohai – Ura Rate Mahjong Tohai Roku, Too Cute Crisis) is directing the anime series, with Aya Satsuki (Too Cute Crisis) as series screenwriter and co-scriptwriter, Tomomi Shimazaki (Mr. Villain’s Day Off) as character designer, and Hiroyuki Hasegawa (Ah My Buddha, Banner of the Stars III) as background art director. The anime is based on Debata Yuda‘s camping slice of life manga (known as Futari Solo Camp in Japan) that was first published in Kodansha’s Evening magazine on October 9, 2018. The manga was then transferred to the Comic Days manga app on April 21, 2023 after Evening ceased publication on February 18, 2023. It then resumed serialization in Morning magazine on December 14, 2023, where it has been running since. Nineteen tankobon volumes have been released as of November 2024.

Pony Canyon describes the main synopsis of Solo Camping for Two as:
