A new key visual has been released for the upcoming Ruri Rocks TV anime series, highlighting the lead characters participating in mineralogy study and research. The anime is set to premiere sometime later in 2025.

Shingo Fujii (Onimai: I’m Now Your Sister!) is directing the anime series, with Michiko Yokote (Love Is Indivisible by Twins) as series screenwriter, Mayu Fujii as character designer, Kohei Yoshida (Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!) as sound director, Daisuke Achiwa (Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey co-composer) and Kazuki Yanagawa (Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey co-composer) as music composers. Studio Bind is handling the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:
- • Miyari Nemoto as Ruri Tanigawa
- • Asami Seto as Nagi Arato
- • Saki Hayashi as Shoko Seto
- • Misuzu Yamada as Aoi Kasamaru
The anime adaptation is based on the manga series by Keiichiro Shibuya, which has been serialized in Kadokawa’s Harta since August 10, 2019. Five volumes have been released as of September 2024. The manga’s Japanese title is Ruri no Houseki.

Ruri Rocks follows Ruri, a high school girl who loves jewelry, gems, and accessories. She meets a young mineralogy graduate student named Nagi, who helps her develop a deep interest in the world of mineral collecting.
