A character reveal trailer for the upcoming New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt anime has been released, unveiling Yuto Uemura‘s Polyurethane and Junya Enoki‘s Polyester (they’re brothers, and also angels).
Another reveal is that the anime will premiere in July.
Outside of the New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt announcements, there are some reveals for the old Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, including a June 25 JST Blu-ray Box release called Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt Blu-ray BOX “All-Time Bitch Edition.” There’s also an analog release of that show’s soundtrack (Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt The Original Soundtrack Analog Edition) that’s set to launch on May 14 JST.
The first season of Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt first aired in Japan way back in 2010 and was produced at Gainax. Crunchyroll describes it as:
Panty and Stocking are obscene angels who were banished from the pearly gates for being foul-mouthed, sex-crazed, sugar-addicted bad girls! Now they spend their days hunting ghosts in the lecherous abyss between Heaven and Earth.
The new series will include music contributions from Taku Takahashi, TeddyLoid, m-flo, TAKU INOUE, 80KIDZ, KM, TAAR, MONJOE, Yackle, Mitsunori Ikeda, Junji Chiba, and more.
