Bandai Namco Filmworks has released the first teaser PV trailer for the upcoming second season of I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability. The anime series is set to premiere in Japan and worldwide on Crunchyroll in July 2025.
The teaser trailer was unveiled at the White Stage at AnimeJapan 2025. The second season was first announced shortly after the anime’s season finale aired on June 18, 2024. Season one first premiered on April 2, 2024.
Jin Tamamura (A Sister’s All You Need series director) directed the first season, with Naoki Tozuka (T.P. Sakura: Time Paladin Sakura) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Naru Nishikori (Shadowverse Flame in-between checker) as character designer and chief animation director, Yuuichi Abe (Superior Defender Gundam Force director) as action director, and R.O.N as music composer. Tsumugi Akita Animation Lab is the animation production company.
Meanwhile, some of the anime’s main voice cast includes:

Two new cast members will join the second season, which include Manaka Iwami as Esche and Minami Tsuda as Saria. Both characters are also featured in the new teaser trailer.
The anime is based on the light novel series written by Kenkyo na Circle and illustrated by Meru. It was first published by Kodansha’s Ranobe Bunko on July 2, 2020 and has released eight volumes as of July 2024. The series began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro on October 31, 2019.
A manga adaptation by Yosuke Kokuzawa began serialization on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website and app on June 27, 2020. Eighteen tankobon volumes have been released as of February 2025. Kodansha USA releases the manga series in English.
A spinoff manga by Keiri Amamiya was launched in Magazine Pocket on February 17, 2024.
