The official website and Twitter/X account for the upcoming Dekin no Mogura TV anime adaptation announced the addition of three new voice cast members. The series is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan sometime in July 2025.
The three new cast members include Genki Okawa as Kuriaki Magi (left), Yukiyo Fujii as Yaeko Kirihara (center), and Akane Fujita as Shio Inukai (right).

They join main cast members Yuichi Nakamura, who is voicing the titular lead character, Mogura.
Hiroshi Ishiodori (An Archdemon’s Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride) is directing the anime series, with Shinzo Fujita (To Your Eternity) as series composer and Yoko Tanabe (How I Attended an All-Guy’s Mixer) as character designer. Brain’s Base is in charge of the animation production.
The anime is based on the supernatural manga series by Hozuki’s Coolheadedness creator Natsumi Eguchi, which has been serialized in Kodansha’s Morning since April 8, 2021. The series has released eight tankobon volumes as of November 2024.

Dekin no Mogura follows two university students, Magi and Yaeko, who come across a man who gets injured from a falling dictionary. The man, who refuses an ambulance or police involvement even as blood flows from him, strikes the two as an odd figure. Adding to the strangeness, Magi and Yaeko are soon able to see weird things after their encounter with him.
