Two new additional cast members have been announced for the upcoming See You Tomorrow at the Food Court TV anime series. The anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan sometime in 2025.
The new cast includes Saori Hayami as Saito, Wada’s classmate who likes taking time to put on her makeup, and Jun Fukuyama as Duke Abel, a character from the social mobile game Wada plays.
They join a main voice cast that is headlined by Hiyori Miyazaki as Wada and Yoshino Aoyama as Yamamoto.
The staff also announced that the anime will have a stage event at Kadokawa’s AnimeJapan 2025 booth on March 23, 2025 at 10:20 AM JST. Fukuyama will join the anime’s two lead cast members at the event. Kadokawa’s YouTube channel will stream the event.
Kazuomi Koga (Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 1 and 2, How I Attended an All-Guy’s Mixer) is directing the anime series, with Kyuta Sakai (Re:ZERO Season 1 and 2) as character designer and chief animation director, Jukki Hanada (Sound! Euphonium, Girls Band Cry) as series screenwriter, and Kana Utatane (Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!) as music composer. Atelier Pontdarc is handling the animation production.
The anime is based on the manga series by Shinichiro Nariie, which originally began as a Twitter comic on October 24, 2019, before being serialized on Kadokawa’s Comic Newtype on March 10, 2020. A single tankobon volume has been released as of March 2021, with a second volume set for release on March 31, 2025.
