A new TV anime based on Bandai‘s Battle Spirits trading card game has been announced.
The announcement says that it is not a sequel to previous Battle Spirits anime and has a slightly different setting.
The Battle Spirits card game made its debut in Japan in 2008. The first anime series begin airing that same year.
A recent anime installment was 2021’s Battle Spirits Mirage web anime.
