Five new cast members and additional staff have been unveiled for the upcoming Yusha Party o Tsuiho Sareta Shiro Madoshi, S-Rank Bokensha ni Hirowareru: Kono Shiro Madoshi ga Kikakugai Sugiru TV anime series. The anime will premiere in Japan sometime in July 2025.
The new cast members joining the series include:
- • Ryohei Kimura as Allen
- • Yui Ishikawa as Rina
- • Mizuki Mano as Miiya
- • Ayaka Nanase as Lulu
- • Saeko Ooki as Sheena
They join a main cast that stars:
- • Gakuto Kajiwara as Lloyd
- • Rina Hidaka as Yui
- • Haruka Shiraishi as Silica
- • Daisuke Hirose as Cross
- • Yuichiro Umehara as Dacgus
Some of the new additional staff members include Hozumi Goda (I Want to Escape from Princess Lessons) as sound director, with Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Dr. Stone: New World) and Tsubasa Handa as music composers.
Hiroshi Tamada (Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement) is directing the anime, Akihiko Inari (Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement) as series screenwriter, and Yuta Ito (Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement co-sub-character designer) as character designer. Felix Film is handling the animation production for the series.
The series began as a web novel written by Sora Suigetsu on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in March 2020. Futabasha then began publishing the light novels with new illustrations by DeeCHA on November 30, 2020. Seven volumes have been released as of November 2024, with the two most recent volumes being released exclusively as digital e-books.
A manga adaptation of the light novels by Wasabi Mukuno was launched on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website on January 22, 2021. Eighth tankobon volumes have been released as of November 2024.
Yusha Party o Tsuiho Sareta Shiro Madoshi follows the White Mage Lloyd, who has been let go by the Hero’s Party due to his supposed lack of ability. Unbeknownst to the Hero’s Party, Lloyd is actually the disciple of a missing great sage, and is able to cast support magic that is beyond the norm. After being expelled by the Hero’s Party, Lloyd becomes an adventurer while believing that he is nothing special.
