An anime adaptation of the Dead Account supernatural action manga has been announced with a teaser visual.
Nobuhiko Okamoto is starring as main protagonist Soji Enishiro, a 15-year-old who tries to raise money for his frail sister’s medical expenses by making controversial videos. Also announced were Koki Uchiyama as Kukuru Kasubata and Fairouz Ai as Kiyomi Urusugawa.
SynergySP is the animation production company.
Shizumu Watanabe‘s Dead Account manga began serialization in 2023 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. It is currently running on Magazine Pocket and will release its 10th tankobon volume on March 17, 2025 JST. The premise sees Soji joining a school for exorcists, who now face spirits who digitized themselves following the spread of the internet.
