A TV anime adaptation of Yoichi Tsukahara‘s Style of Hiroshi Nohara’s Lunch (Nohara Hiroshi: Hiromeshi no Ryuugi) manga will begin airing this October.

Toshiyuki Morikawa is voicing the titular character, the father of Crayon Shin-chan‘s Shinnosuke Nohara. The staff of the DLE-produced anime includes:

• Director: Tsukasa Nishiyama (Aria the Animation in-between checker)
• Series composer and co-scriptwriter: Hayashi Mori (Cells at Work! Code Black series composer and scriptwriter)
• Character designer: Kotaro Yamawaki

The Style of Hiroshi Nohara’s Lunch manga started in 2015 in Futabasha’s Manga Town. The Crayon Shin-chan spin-off, which focuses on Hiroshi and his lunches, has 12 tankoubon volumes as of May 2024.
