A premiere date and ending theme song have been revealed for the upcoming Kakushite! Makina-san!! TV anime series, which begins broadcasting in Japan on April 6, 2025. 

The series will air in a 15-minute time slot with two versions: a censored version on TV and streaming platforms in Japan and an uncensored version on the AnimeFesta service. 

The anime’s main ending theme is “Android ni Kubittake” by Japanese idol group Brave Mental Orchestra. Meanwhile, the anime’s opening theme is “Ie de Yeah! tte Age Tiger” by Serena Kozuki

Masayoshi Nishita (Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru) is directing the anime series, with Kentaro Ino (episode director for Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyuutan Episode 1, 2, 6, 10) as assistant director, Yohei Kashi (Isekai Onsen Paradise) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, and Yusaku Nakamura (Love Flops Episode 5 and 6 co-chief animation director) as main character designer. BloomZ is in charge of the animation production, in cooperation with Wolfsbane

Meanwhile, the main voice cast includes:

  • • Yuki Kuwahara as Mimika
  • • Hina Natsume as Mamimi
  • • Eriko Matsui as Alma
  • • Ryoko Shintani as Landlady 

The original erotic comedy manga series first debuted in Futabasha’s Monthly Action on October 25, 2022, before moving to Web Comic Action on April 2, 2024. Four tankobon volumes have been released as of December 2024.

Kakushite! Makina-san!! follows lonely mecha otaku Eita, who discovers that his school idol Makina is actually a sex android — a robot capable of engaging in sexual activity.
