The Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra RPG will launch on mobile on March 27 JST. A trailer commemorating the release date’s announcement, as well as a Felicia Mitsuki character trailer, were released in addition to the reveal.
Also, it was announced that the game’s 800,000 pre-registration mark has been reached (unlocking five Magia Keys and the Madoka Kaname and Homura Akemi Fan Kits), and that the theme song is “lighthouse” by FictionJunction feat. LINO LEIA.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra was originally scheduled for a 2024 release before it was delayed. Aside from iOS and Android, it will be available on Steam. The turn-based RPG allows players to form parties of up to five Magical Girls and appears to have a memory theme. The narrative premise reads:
A place where the memories of Magical Girls illuminate the dark…
The Lighthouse.
Now a girl who’s lost everything wanders into its sanctum.
Who am I…?
How did I get here…?
She will relive key moments of countless of Magical Girls by opening windows into their memories…
Trusting she’ll one day find her own lost light of remembrance.
Pokelabo, Inc. and f4samurai, Inc. are credited for the game’s development, while Pokelabo, Inc. will handle the management.
Magia Exedra was preceded by 2017’s Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story, which ended services in July 2024.
