The Lapin Track-produced You and I are Polar Opposites anime adaptation announced last November has received trailer and teaser visual, as well as staff details.
Takakazu Nagatomo (SHOSHIMIN Episode 3 and 8 storyboarder and director et al.) is directing the series. Teruko Utsumi (Sarazanmai co-series composer and co-scriptwriter, model producer) is serving as both series composer and animation producer, while Mako Miyako is the character designer. Among the other staff is Naho Kozono (Undead Murder Farce) as the sub-character designer and one of the chief animation directors.
You and I are Polar Opposites is set to premiere in January 2026. It is based on the romantic comedy manga by Kocha Agasawa, which started serialization on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ in May 2022 and ended the same day as the anime’s announcement. The manga was originally a one-shot.
Manga Plus describes the premise as:
