An anime adaptation of the Yuusha Party o Oidasareta Kiyoubinbou ~Party Jijou de Fuyo Jutsushi o Yatteiteta Kenshi, Bannou e Itaru~ light novels has been announced with a teaser visual.
Hiroyuki Kanbe (Gonna be the Twin-Tail!!) is directing at animation studio42 with Masashi Suzuki (RAIL WARS!) as series composer and Naoto Nakamura (DATE A LIVE IV and V) as character designer.
The cast includes Takeo Otsuka as Ollun Doura, Hina Tachibana as Sophia Claudel, and Saori Onishi as Selma Claudel.
The Yuusha Party o Oidasareta Kiyoubinbou light novel series, written by Togami Itsuki and illustrated by Yuri Kisaragi, began publication under the Kodansha K Ranove Books label in September 2021 and has eight volumes as of December 2024. It is a party banishment-type story where main character Ollun was forced by his party’s circumstances to switch from swordsman to enchanter before being booted out due to his perceived lack of ability.
Ollun, who is good at quickly acquiring skills that even an average joe, provided they put in the effort, can learn, respecs back into a swordsman as he restarts his solo life, with his accumulated knowledge and experience, as well as his original techniques, giving him a boost.
The story started as a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel in 2021. There is a manga.
